I got a set coming in for my GE to test out fitment and another set in for GD that's for a friend. I will post up some pics when it comes in, since I'm super excited to have the only set of J's for the GE in the US. I should have the set for the GE by the end of the week, by the end of next week. I got to ride in a car with just plain Showa Tuning dampers in it over the past weekend it was so amazing, I placed my order this morning. ;)

It's been awhile since I have been on this forum, so this should be a good welcome back for me. From what I have heard and seen the springs are manufactured by Swift so the ride should be very comfortable from everyone's reviews.

I got some good news and bad news. I got in two boxes of J's Racing Showa suspension systems for a GD and a GE and none are getting installed until next week. :(

But here are some quick pics from my phone. I unwrapped the GE since I will be test fitting it, but kept the GD box alone since I would like to leave some excitement for someone else.

The ride is amazing on the Fit now. It bolted-on perfectly with no modifications needed for the GE8. I will post pics sometime next week but I'm at a 2 finger gap right now and it still has to settle a little more.

Perfection. Just got my alignment done and the car handles nicely around corners and smooth for a daily driver. The car should have been equipped with a showa setup from the factory.

Thanks for the notes, Eric. The hardware looks really good, and so does the car's height (from someone who has no interest in lowering his Fit). Down the road, I would be interested in hearing about the durability after thousands of miles and hundreds of hard hits on dips, hard corners, etc. I have yet to wear out the stock suspension of a Fit, so I have no comparison to make.

I took the Fit on a road trip down to Seaside, Oregon over mixed roads with gravel and dirt this past weekend. It was much different than I had expected, but the ride was smooth and handled the rough terrain of no dirt and manholes well. It wasn't my choice to go through a dirt road with manholes popping up, but a bad navigator in the passenger seat instead. :( I did get to take on a few twisty roads in Oregon which were stable with no body roll.

So far I have found it to be more comfortable than stock, and provides for a good time in corners. If anyone has any questions about the J's Showa suspension for the GD or GE post them up.
