Hot!!!

Whew it's 98 F in the shade here and for the first time my engine temperature was 185 F where it normally is 180. Not pushing hard just going to the local store and back but running the A/C with the temp control almost to full cold where it's normally only 1/2 way.

I guess that shows how on the margin the fit/Jazz cooling system really is. It blew my mind when I first was going to change my antifreeze and found that the amount of coolant needed was so small drained the radiator and two liters of new antifreeze wouldn't fit. :eek:

Wow I just found out why it was running so HOT. On the TV news tonight they said today was the hottest EVER temperature for today's date 43.8 c which converts to about 112 F. But the good news is my homemade DIY cold air intake is working fine... with an outside temp of 112 F my IAT at the TB was only 120 F :p

That is amazing.....I am hoping for some results like that on my car in the near future.
