I just bought my Fit this weekend, A 2010 light blue one.
I traded in my Accord. I wanted something a little more fun, but I admit I don't know much about the Fit as far as reliability, ride etc. beyond the test drive. Any help?
I look forward to communicating with my new Fit peeps.
Also, it looks like with the front wheel off, I could fit a couple of mountain bikes in the back with those magic seats up.
Anybody out there ?

Welcome to the forums Phil! If you PM another of our members, TFBDesigns (Tim), he would be glad to share his own invention for carrying Mtn. bikes in his Fit. He made a frame out of lumber and front axle bolts that holds the bike forks just behind the front seat backs and keeps the bikes upright and steady even in tight turns.

Unfortunately, our GE8 seats are not quite as "magic" as the ones in the GD3's (I have owned both models), but Tim's interior bike holder will probably work fine in your new Fit.

If you want the very best handling in your Fit, you need the Progress Rear Anti-Sway Bar which is discussed fully in our Suspension forum. When you drove your stock Fit home from the dealer, the car would beat any stock Corvette on a slalom race course. Wait until you see what it can do with the Progress bar!

You will like the reliability of your FIT. VERY few complaints over reliability. Lt. Blue must be the color of this month as another member was trying to find one but got messed up.
