2010 or 2011 Fit

I have a 2007 Fit and am going to upgrade. No dealer can find me the 2010 Sport with manual transmission in silver. Should I just wait (at this point) for the 2011 model? When does the next year generally appear at the dealers?:o

When I saw the first 2007 Fit to be delivered to the Honda dealer near me, it was in June '06. When I had to find a replacement Fit because the first one was wrecked, the '09s had already been on the street for a couple of months when I ordered one in Sept. of '09 (dealer had to trade with another dealer to get the color I wanted).

So, I am guessing that dealers will have the details about the new models by early summer, will accept orders by mid-summer, and will have stock to deliver by late summer. Why not call your dealer and ask?

I just bought a 2010 Fit today and the salesman said the 2011 may not be out until the end of September

I have been wanting a Fit since June 2009. When I was ready to buy in 2010, I'd heard rumors of a Hybrid Fit for 2011. I bit the bullet and bought anyway.

Here are details on the 2011 model changes.

VSA will be standard and floor mats included. If it had been hybrid, I would have kicked myself-this is not enough change for me to have waited. I assume they will be the carpet mats, not the all weather and MSRP will increase to include the additions.

Hi charlie, are you close to ardmore honda? I checked their website and they have 5sp Fit Sport with Nav/VSA. I just don't know if they have the color that you want. Check their website below.

I also found West Chesters Honda. They have a Fit Sport 5spd but it is Taffeta White, Red, Black and one in Orange.

I can't wait to make use of all the special privileges that I now have. When Mrs. macbuddy and I went to stay at the Vino Bellos resort in Napa, We noticed an unusual sign. We couldn't, and still can't believe that some businesses have special parking for Hybrid owners. Apparently, several other places also reserve spaces for "cars just like our's":
