View Full Version : 3old and 1 new tire..any side effect??

Hi guys I was totally careless and mount a high kerb. It cauesd my left front wheel tire to burst.I went to a car wk shop and discover that there was a small hole at the side of the tire.the tire man inf me they are unable to patch it.

Therefore I need to change the whole tire.resulting in 3 old tire and 1new tire..wanted to change back to the same brand and model but was out of stock.

Current I am using 3 old falken tire and the new wan is a gt brand tire.. Will update the new tire model later..the tire man help me swap to 2old falken in the front and for the rear it is 1 old and 1 new..

Would like to ask is their any side effect to tis combination??
And that gt brand tire cost me $95 including wk man shipit's it consider expensive ??

I did the change at spc at toa payoh lor 7.. Name speedy service..

No problem using mixed tires as long as they are close in size (rolling circumference) if they are different sizes you should put the new tire on the rear because different tire sizes on the front will cause the differential to operate all the time putting undo stresses on it.
