Here are a few pictures that a friend took at a meet I attended.

The black wheels look pretty good on the silver GE.

He got a deal on the real deal.... They are definitely Rays, not that there is a thing wrong with Enkeis.

Yeah, they are real Volk RE30s. It's nice to hear things like this since it makes me sleep better since people can't tell they are expensive. If everyone knew I was driving on Volks, I may have a thread up saying how I miss them. ;)

After owning a very expensively customized and hotted up Harley-Davidson and losing sleep knowing how they were being stolen and shipped elsewhere in cargo containers, I low ball my car's appearance.... I couldn't even eat out somewhere if I couldn't see where my Harley was parked through a window. People hardly even notice my little S--t box and I really like it that way..... I feel like washing and detailing it a couple of times a year but seldom get around to it, though it looks nice when I do.... I like looking at well thought out cars with top notch parts that are visible to everyone but I really need my sleep and leave it to those that don't.

It's tough to have good stuff with all the jerks out there

People really don't look at my car that even with the Volks, since its a Honda Fit.

I guess I am fortunate in a way because the area I am in only has a small minority of Japanese cars and though mine is one of the few with modifications it is only one of maybe five Fits in the area.... It is more likely to be used for target practice with empty grocery carts than to be stripped or stolen.... The bubbas in pickups don't try to stay on my back bumper like they did at first so my fuel mileage is getting better.... I helped put springs on a GE and it wasn't hard at all... When you get around to dropping yours be sure to consider function over form.... Being an Idiot I had to learn the hard way 29 years ago.

I look for function over form in everything now with the Fit. I haven't found a good set-up yet that doesn't cost a bunch. I like the swift springs but I want to find some dampers as well to match with them so I'm just waiting until more companies start making parts before I lower my car.

What they say about Swift Machs being engineered to work with the stock shocks and struts is true.... I had a lot of reservations about changing from the stock setup after the results from just changing the tires and wheels made but other than the occasional scraping of the front lip (which it did with stock wheels and tires) I am extremely pleased. The Lady I helped install the same product on her GE Sport really loves them and I don't think she has a ground clearance problem.... There are a lot of choices out there except for choices in dampers alone..... Konis would sure be nice but costly.

Eric, mrFroge is running T1R adjustable dampers with stock springs. He seems to like this set up better than running the OEM shocks. I'm thinking that the Swift springs mated to T1R dampers might be the perfect combo . Hopefully mrFroge will be able to offer some advice here.

Thanks for the heads up on the T1R dampers, but I am looking to do something that hasn't been done before so I will need a good setup. I'm actually looking at bilstein b14s, but I'm not sure yet since I will need a custom set up made. I might just go with the swift springs for awhile until I get my project going and need a better setup.

We had another white GD with a supercharger, but their are no pictures because it was Easter and he had "family time" with the in-laws. One of the best meets for the Washington Fits since we had two supercharged Fits, with one being the infamous K20-supercharged Fit.

Good to see he got it back together how's it run now? Looks like it's still cold up there.

His Fit was down while he was waiting for his supercharger belt, which came in a couple of days before our meet. He said he is getting his car ready for race season. In the future, the other two Fits in the pictures will be infamous as well. :D

I really like seeing cars that look good and are capable of being driven without fear of busting the strut towers every time they approach a crack in the pavement when driving the speed limit...... Let us in on what it is you are going to do that hasn't been done before???... Please.

Were trying to keep it a secret, but PM if you would really like to know. I'm working on things as well which will be unveiled in the not too distant future.

Yay! The GE world is a little lacking in innovations, IMO.

That is very true and a disappointment as well, since the owner of the Orange Fit confirmed for me that their will be no mounts from Hasport for the GEs. It's pretty crazy when you can call the owner of Hasport on Easter Sunday and receive a precise answer. To keep things off forums as well, my plans are to be kept a secret since not many performance-minded GE owners currently.
