Angelo, if you had them, they would (probably) sell very well. I can't guarantee anything, but I personally feel that the stock GE8 Fit tail lights are ugly. The JDM tails that I have seen are even worse IMO. I have not seen the lights in the Ebay ad in person yet, but I think that they would look even better in real life than they do in the photos. However, I could be dead wrong about that. If I had room in my budget right now, I would risk my money to find out. The price seems to be very reasonable.

Please let us know if you are able to deal in ANY quality lighting products. Good luck!

If I had a GE I would buy them in a heartbeat and it would be better coming from Zeta than some guy you don't know on epay.

Yep, that's for sure! It is strange how long it has taken for anyone to make alternative tail lights for the GE's. These look pretty nice.

Bought a set of the smoke / red yesterday. The seller is in Woodland Hills so maybe I will have them in time to install this weekend

Hey, jd,

I will be holding my breath for photos. Since I posted about these lights, my discretionary income has changed quite a bit, and I have not bought the lights yet. If your review is good, as I expect that it will be, I will put these at the head of my "need to buy" list. I am a little worried about their appearance on a dark color Fit, like my BBP GE8. I can get a better impression from real-world photos than I can from Ebay ad photos. Thanks in advance for photos and your impressions of quality. I believe that the GE8's will look better with LED tails, but I am a little worried about the smoked ones on a Purple car.

Well the new Depo smoke/red tail lights arrived at work today so I installed them this afternoon in the install bay.

The tail lights were well packed and the quality of materials and workmanship is top notch!

Installation is painless and the fit and finish is excellent, just like the originals.

The only thing I changed was I pulled the factory turn signal bulbs(with sockets) from the OEM tail lights and put them in the Depo tail lights. After a quick A/B comparison I decided the factory bulbs looked better. (color / brightness)

The interesting thing I found is that the red lower section has no bulb, just the reflective /mirrored background inside.

The top section of the Depo houses the running /brake light array of Red LED's six of them to be exact in a pyramid shape (see my crudely photoshopped image below) And yes they are plenty bright.

Then we turned some of the shop lights off (equivalent to lighting at dusk) and applied the brakes  holy balls batman those will grab your attention!

I really like the fact that the brake/running lights are at the top.

When you hit the brakes, these lights in conjunction with 3rd brake light which is also LED (I did not know since I have never seen it lit up before) are very effective to say the least LOL

Now for some pics.

I agree-- they look spectacular with your light paint color, which makes me a little doubtful about getting the same good effect on my BBP. Thanks for the great details in your post!

Just checked a few GE8s here and the stock lenses are almost all red not clear. There are two clear strips right in the middle about an inch wide going from side to side and around the side for the backup lights.

if I had a dark colored fit, I would go non smoked, much like the stock 99 civic lights, I think that looks better, I got the smoke lights too, at first I didn't like them, but the longer they are on, the more I like them. Next up, a 50% tint to go with the smoke.
