FYI- Costco has the best price that I have seen on the new MagLite LED flash lights. I had been looking at these things over the last year, but did not buy because of the too high price. I am a big fan of LED portable lights because the batteries last 3X longer than halogen bulbs, and the LED bulbs last many times longer than halogens.
After last night's power outage, in which I had to replace a burned out bulb in my MagLite by touch in the dark, I decided to visit Costco to see if they might have a deal on a new set or two of MagLite LED's. I checked the prices for new units on Ebay for the combo of a three-'D' cell, and a two-'AA" Mini Mag Lite LED. Average was $35.00. Plus shipping.
Costco has this combo, in several colors, for $24.99. The beam from the 3-D cell LED flashlight is both focusable, and POWERFUL! The AA MiniMag comes with a free belt holster, and the D cell has several power settings that you can choose to use.
Also- For those who use USB flash drives to hold music for use in the stock stereo, I just bought a package of three HP brand 4GB capacity flash drives for the price of $29.95. I will use one of these for firmware upgrades for my new Samsung Blu Ray DVD player, and will try the other out as a replacement for my MP3 player in the Fit. Shipping on these from Costco is free (actually, figured into the sales price). Costco used to carry these drives in the stores but no longer do that. I ordered through the Costco.com web site.
P.s Wow!!! After it got dark this evening and I tested the new LED flashlights, I was so impressed with the powerful, dazzling white (as opposed to the halogen yellow) beam of the new flashlights, I went to the following site to order upgrade LED bulbs for all of my old MagLites:

I love mini mags and when I had my business I used to buy them by the case for $8.88 each.
But beware of updating old ones to led. I still had some from probably 1980 that I had been using since then with the old style and then the newer bulb type no problems.
Then on my last trip home while stocking up on bulbs I saw that mini mag itself was offering a drop in replacement to use a led bulb and I though great and I got some.
Got home and one of the first things I did was take the old stuff out and put in the led setup and thought nothing of it. Used it for a couple of day and noticed that it was getting dim.
So I tried to pull out the batteries and the first one came out but it was slow coming out and I noticed some slime on the outside and the top one was really stuck and it took banging the light onto the floor to get the inner battery to come out. When I finally got it all the way out it was covered in slime like the battery had been in there for years and had "leaked" acid.
I'm like what the hell was that but though maybe it had been a bad battery but it had been a new duracell. So there was the first one I threw away after years and years of faithful service.
Got to thinking and checked the other three that I had also converted to led and sure enough the top battery was starting to leak acid but not as much as they get used less than the first one. Fortunately these three I saved by washing out the acid with water and quickly converted them all back to normal high intensity bulbs and no further problems.
I'm not positive why this happens but it's probably too much draw using the mini mag brand led conversion kits. I would have let it go if it had been one only thinking it was bad batteries but not 4 at once. Or maybe if it had been an off brand led conversion but these were directly from mini mag.
The three put back to normal bulbs are still working fine using the same duracell batteries from the same pack that the others had come from and no problems.
So Dave check your batteries once in awhile especially the one furthest inside to see if it's getting slimy.

I had this happen too, but with an LED upgrade kit from another company. The kit also had a replacement tail cap with a push-button on/off switch. I set the flashlight aside for a couple of months, found it dead, and had to use pliers to unscrew the tail cap. Both batteries were so corroded that they wouldn't come out. I threw the MiniMag away.
I will watch the new bulbs in the old-style flashlights carefully, but I was going to throw them out anyway because the new LED MagLites are so much of an improvement. If the off-brand LED bulbs cause battery problems, in the trash they go, later rather than sooner.
I wanted to try the upgrade bulb in the 4-call that I carry clipped to my inside driver door. IN addition to do any lighting job, they can also break windows or skulls as the need may be- obviously why cops use so many of them.

I thought this thread was going to be about how the Fit is a great car for Costco shopping trips. :)
I was able to get ten 42lb bags of kitty litter in there plus some other stuff that my mother needed with no problem.
People stare at you like you're a nut job when you have that much kitty litter. Hopefully that much will last her two cats for a long long time.

They stared at me the same way when I loaded 840 pounds of cinder blocks into the back of my Fit, then drove away with my wife in the passenger seat.
