Hmm..."aslimfit" is a new member Dave. Jimmy already has a user name of "slimjimx701x"...however, the weird thing is that "slimjimx701" is not listed in the members list, yet I can contact him through PM. Why is that?

Jimmy told me that although he can PM here, he cannot post for whatever reason. So he intended to make up a new user name and start a new account to get rid of the "I can't post" problem. aslimfit could just as easily be Jimmy as not. That is, until either Jimmy or aslimfit clears this up.

It seems as if Jimmy's original account registration was not filled out correctly if he is not listed as a member.

aslimfit's real name could be Jimmy, or Humphrey, or Mumble Finger for all I know. P.s. there is a very talented rock guitarist/singer who does one-man concerts- a Bay Area guy, stage-named Mumble Finger. I saw him as the opening act for a Leon Russell concert in the Santa Cruz mountains about 8 years ago. Mumble Finger and his group have an interesting bayou/blues CD titled "Southern Fried n' Greasy", but they are actually from Berkely, CA.

First off, Sorry for the confusion guys,

This is Jimmy AKA Slimjimx701x. As for the posting issue, I find it petty odd that I could not get in touch with the admin about the issue. Since I did join this site before I went over to FF, my guess the issue came from the lack of activities with the 701 account (logging on instead of lurking), hence the lost ability. However I still do not understand why I can still send out PMs. Maybe hondafitforums did an update and causing the 701 to be lost?

Jimmy, there was a recent update of the site software. But there are no admins- just the owner and two mods. The mods here have less control over the site mechanics than the admins. on the freak site. That's OK- we don't need it.

Hi everybody this is aslimfit, i'm completely new here and i'm not Jimmy or David my name is Mark. Just a little background I purchased a 2010 storm silver base model with a 5 speed manual on the 22nd of Dec from Vista Honda in Ventura, Ca. I haven't done anything to it other than a broadway mirror I will post some pictures in a few days. Thanks for having me aboard.

X2 Mark. Sorry to mistake your user name with someone else. Your user name showed up within the hour that Jimmy told me that he would create another user name/account to solve his inability to post.

Congrats on the new Fit, and congrats also on having Ventura County weather to drive it in. I would personally hate to buy a new, light, FWD car and have to dodge ice patches and snowdrifts on the highways in my daily commutes.
