View Full Version : My New 2010 Honda Fit Sport
Hello Everyone,
I took delivery of a 2010 Blue Sensation Fit Sport, AT, last night. Thanks for answering my questions. I had done some research and decided that I would be happiest with the FIT over a long period of time. Tint and pin stripes will be applied in a couple of days. I look forward to 'personalizing' my Fit with some accessories in the near future. The first accessory that I plan to order is the "third brake light" that was reviewed by Manxman. I have several more questions regarding how you dealt with various issues. Thanks again for the help, it definitely paid off. David

Congratulations Dave-
We specialize in answers to "issues". On the third brake light, yours will probably have red "dashes" before and after the "Fit" text, but I talked to a cop who said that my blue dashes on my "unique" test sample brake light would not get me a ticket.
Thanks David, can you tell me how to post pictures? I started a member CP and downloaded two photos' but could not get them to open in the thread. It is possible that the re-sizing didn't get them small enough.
Thanks again,
David

What photo-hosting service do you use? Imageshack.us is the host that I have always used but there are many others like photobucket. I personally prefer to use thumbnail images in posts because they load faster than giant full sized images, and they don't distort forum page borders to the extra width needed to display giant images. So, all that I can advise is the methods that I use.
When you get your photos into whatever image program you use for that purpose, then set up your imageshack account. When you want to post a photo, log onto imageshack, click "upload image", then click "browse". In the list that comes up, select your image program and find the image(s) that you want to post. Select an image, click "open" in the dialog box, and then click "Upload" on the imageshack page. this is time consuming, so be patient.
When you have the images uploaded onto your Imageshack page, click on one of your images and it will be highlighted in orange around the image. In the menu on the right side of the page, select "obtain code for forums", or for a bigger image, select "obtain code for web sites". when you click on the one you want, another page opens up with the code listed twice (one of the codes listed is a back-up in case the other one doesn't work). Click on the first code to highlight it, copy it, then paste it onto your forum post. You will need to have your browser open to two pages. when you click "copy" on the imageshack page, then alternate to the other browser page where you have your forum post already open. Click "paste". Just keep alternating between your photos on imageshack and your other page with the post open as you transfer the image codes.
All of that sounds horribly complicated, but once you get some practice, it gets easier but still time consuming. And I am writing this as if to a complete novice- if that is not your actual category, please don't take offense- I don't know what level of experience you have. And, somebody will probably chime in with an even easier way to to this, but this is the way that I do it.
