I cannot get the VSA turned off on my 2009 Honda Fit. I have done everything in the owners manual but when I hold the button down, there is no beep and no light comes on in the dash, though the symbol lights up when you first start the car! Does anyone have any suggestions. I am frustrated and can't get anywhere with my Fit in the snow!!! I was loving the car until this weather hit!!!

This won't be a lot of help- I don't have VSA on my '09 Sport, and have never regretted NOT buying this option. The '09 Fit Service Manual merely says: "The VSA OFF indicator comes on, when the VSA is turned OFF by using the VSA OFF switch". If I understand your post correctly, your VSA system never goes off, regardless of what the dash symbols indicate. In the VSA Troubleshooting section, the Service Manual says to use the "Honda Diagnostic System" which means, go see a dealer service shop. You are going to have to deal with a lot more snow, so a dealer visit for a warranty fix of the problem would be a very good thing to do. Good luck!

definitely bring it to a dealer, it should be fixed under warranty
