If you had 1500 bucks to dedicate to your cars suspension. What would be your choice and why? It's a simple question, so please don't get all technical and stuff, just what components and why? If you can please list prices and where you ordered or purchased said item! Thanks! PEACE

finalout99,
I guess I'll go first. This is probably the easiest, most effective, first, "must do" suspension mod that you should consider. I'll say to go with the Progress Rear Sway Bar. Here is a link for you:

Club RSX for GE8 RSB (http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/PRO-62-1061.html?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=search&utm_campaign=froogle)
Club RSX for GD3 RSB (http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/PRO-62-1060.html)
Why should you do this? Just ask manxman.

finalout99,
Your own driving style and your intentions for the car would dictate what you should shop for. If you want to lower it to a little or greater extent, and want to be able to adjust the dampers to accommodate different conditions -spirited country driving (not much canyon carving in Kansas), track such as Auto X, etc., your price range would handle several popular coilover set ups. But the ultimate suspension upgrade would also include wheels and tires that are specific to your intended use of the car.
But whatever mods you buy for the suspension, be sure to spend $140. or less on the Progress Rear Anti-Sway Bar. The bar will work with, and enhance, any suspension that you use. The Progress bar is the best and least expensive handling improvement that you can make.

First progress rear sway bar
then rear strut bar
lower "a" frame bar
engine bay front strut bar.

I will certainly take everyone's input into consideration. I had an RSX Type S when it first came out in 02. I had the front and rear sway bars and the progress springs. I like their products and it seems that they have made good products for the Fit. Thanks everyone for taking the time to respond!

I personally would get Showa Tuning dampers and springs which run around 1,100 shipped from Asia. Let me know if you are seriously interested since I know one of the dealers.
Next would be a rear sway bar from Progress and then corner balancing the car after.
You should have a little bit left after that but that would be me. :D

Be careful of suspension parts from Asia they are not a direct bolt on to USA Fits. Some of the strut mounting holes are not the same size and must be modified. They can be made to work but just a reminder that there might be some modifying needed.

That is very true. From what I have read and heard from those running any of the Showa Dampers they need to be drilled an extra 2mm. I know the J's Racing one's are modified by AJ Racing to fit directly on USDM Fits if purchased through them.
