If anyone is looking for a deal on a HDTV, here's a suggestion--
My 32" Sony CRT TV has been suffering for a few years, and I have watched sale prices on flat-screen TV's for the last year. I decided to buy the top-rated LCD 40" Samsung TV, based on last year's top rating by Consumer Reports (Model LN40B630). For the last 4-6 months, the lowest price was from Sears ($999.).

My TV is due to arrive on Monday. the DVD player arrived today by UPS, and the HDMI cable is waiting for me to pick up at the post office.
