View Full Version : Custom Shift Boot - Need a model :)

Hey guys,

I've been working on designing a custom shift boot for the manual transmission Fit.

I had a car I was using to create the template, but I had to return it and didn't get a chance to take any photos.

If anyone has a decent camera and can take photos, I will gladly send out a free shift boot in your choice of color in leather or alcantara. You can also choose the color os stitching that would like to complete the look.

Here's just a sample of some of the work I've done for other cars:

Wow! You do very nice work. If I had a M/T, I would be first in line to take your offer. Unfortunately, I don't have M/T. But good luck- I hope that these forums help with your marketing.

I received it from them, and was going to install it this weekend, but I got Friday off and am in Southern CA for the weekend taking my daughter to Disneyland. As soon as I have a chance, I'll install it and do a writeup. It looks like a well made item.

O sure going to disneyland with your daughter is more important that working on your fit .................................. IT SURE IS spend all the time with them as you can when they are young because when they get older and KNOW EVERYTHING they tend to spend less and less time hanging with their "Pops".

Have fun would you believe it was 40 years ago since the last time I went to disneyland.

I went to Disneyland when I was 6- the year the park opened. 1955.

Did you ever get a chance to install that boot? Never heard back from you since we sent it out.

I did install it. Unfortunately, I can't find my camera at the moment. I am going to borrow one. I need to pull it off anyways becuase I misaligned the boot just a bit and you can see under the edge of it. As soon as I can get a Camera, I will post pictures.
I am extremely happy with the quality of it. I have gotten several positive comments on it. It looks very, very nice :cool:
