The "Bumper Protector" from Honda is simply a piece of black tape. I hated it on my '07 Sport and eventually removed it, and the tape from Honda costs around $40.00 minimum. Prior to wrecking the '07, I used a stainless steel bumper protector from ZetaProducts.net that was very high quality and did the job well. Unfortunately, they don't make the stainless steel protector for the '09 Fits.

The smaller size selling for $17.95 fits very well, and is extremely heavy duty, and looks very good. Much better than the expensive, but cheap quality tape.

It mounts to the bumper surface with 3M automotive double-sided tape and is easy to install.
