I'm sure you all know what a stock blue Fit looks like...but there's an important fact about this one - it's mine!

anyway. window tint to come for sure, and possibly air intake - simply because I miss hearing my engine roar when I step on the gas. I had riced the hell out of my del Sol though, so right now I plan on keeping this one as close to stock as possible.

nice Fit! your dealer has a Storm Silver Metallic one? Aww, that's the color I want. Anyway, sounds like you have a good plan set out, keep up the good work, and keep us updated:D

yeah they had 2 silvers and a red when I went there...I had to wait a few days for a blue one.

well, good luck! I had to wait for mine a bit for the same reason, too. the moment I got hired, I went out and ordered it.

I almost had to wait 8-12 weeks just to get mine in vivid blue. i wouldn't have so patient. so we ended up driving 300 miles to get my car. but it was so worth the drive. when we drove it home.... :D i was in heaven. it was so much more comfortable than the 03 ford focus that we drove up in.

my dad and I discussed driving up to Kansas City from Dallas to get it, since we have friends up there to scope out a better deal. But we haggled with the dealers here instead.

I liked the idea of our maiden drive being a roadtrip though...

:) Red is my second favorite color. Magenta is my first, but not too many cars come in magenta! I told my credit union that I wanted a red Fit Sport, manual transmission. Naturally, that was the car that was hardest to get, because they weren't exporting many manuals yet, and red was not a common color (this was back in May 2007). They tried to get me to change colors and transmissions many times. I might have gone with white. I had a white Civic wagon and it always looked clean, even when it wasn't.
Finally they left a message on our machine saying they had the exact car I wanted. On the day I signed the papers, I drove my Subaru Forester to the credit union. The driver from the dealersip switched the plates with me, and I drove my car home after I signed the papers.
I love my car! I love the color. I love the gas mileage (41 mpg on our last road trip).:D

I'm actually a *tad* disappointed with the color - purple was my first choice, yellow was my second...and neither color is in the US, though at least yellow, and I believe purple too, is available elsewhere.

oh well though, it's still gorgeous ^_^

one of the best looking cars out there! and i like that color blue..i wish, however, that Honda would have made the Fit in Royal Blue Pearl..it's a little darker than yours..i think that is Vivid Blue Pearl

I was looking at this picture and thought "This looks like the Honda dealership in McKinney." Then I saw your license plate frame and was like "HELL YEAH!!" That's where I bought mine about two months ago! Man, talk about a great car. I already ordered the Jazz emblem and red "H" for the front and back.
