I just bought a 2009 fit sport and I noticed when I accelerated to get on the freeway I heard the engine pinging. Has anyone else noticed this? What does it mean? Kay

It means the gas is poor octane, your Fit's computer does not have enogh retardation capability, or the timing was set too advanced (which leads to insufficient retardation). Have the dealer check timing and be careeful where you buy your gas.
