I have not had any major scratches to fix myself, so for all I know, riptide may be giving you great advice. But, back to your original question, Turtle Wax Ice products won't fill or hide scratches, but they work extremely well at protecting your paint and providing a great shine. If you wash the car first with the Ice Car Wash, then follow up with the Ice polymer polish/sealer, the next time you wash with the Ice Car Wash, you won't have water spots (although you should use a California Water Blade to squeegee off the rinse water). I have used the Ice products for about 8 years on four cars and I would not use anything else (after trying hundreds of similar products over dozens of years). If you are a Costco member, look in your local warehouse store for cheap prices on all Ice products that usually are offered in the spring.
