if you go to americas tires.com or discount tires.com, they have a section on their site that you can put in your tire info and it would give you the milage break down. or a formula to do the breakdown. if you need a zip code, you can use 93591 if you don't have an americas tires or discount tires in your area.

when your speedometer reads 65, you're actually going 68.97.
your stock revs per miles is 860.2 and with the new tires 8190.2. take your honda to a dealer and they can reprogram your ecu to fix it, or look in tuner mags, there are several obdII tools to correct this.

The 205/55x16 tires are much larger diameter and weight than the 195/55x15's and thus will cost you mucho mpg far worse than speedo and odo errors.
The 205/55x16 is 24.87" in diameter and has a rolling radius of 840 revs per mile.
The 195/55x15 tires have a diameter of 23.44" and a rolling radius of 890 revolutions per mile. Not only that but the 205's are 2-3 lb heavier. so:
1. The 205/55x16 will cost you 4 mpg on real mileage traveled.
2. The 205's will not fit without severe rubbing issues.
3. Based on rolling radii the 205/55x16 tires will travel 6% farther at the same rpm so your odo will read only 940 miles when you actually traveled 1000. Your Fit will be traveling at 63.6 mph when your speedometer says 60.

Bottom line is the 205/55x16's won't fit and if they did you'll lose 4 or 5 mpg on corrected mielage.
175/65x15 are much better choice for winter tires. And less costly for better tires.

You should look at 185/60R15. TireRack has a number of different brands
and they are much cheaper than the original 195/55R15 and will be
better in snow.

The 195/55R15 have a diameter of 23.44 inches.
The 185/60R15 has a diameter of 23.74 inches
The 175/65R15 has a diameter of 23.95 inches.

My feeling is that you should stay as close to OEM diameter as possible.
