Another New Fit Owner

Howdy, just got my new storm sliver fit last Saturday. I love the car but am not impressed with the gas miliage as yet. Drove it 100 miles home and the gas gage read 3/4 tank. Just for fun took it and filled it up and it took 4.2 gallons. I'm not a hard driver and it is all highway. Set cruise on 62 and let her roll. Hope the milliage gets better and hope thae gas gage is not that far off but will have to wait and see.:confused:

the gas mileage will go up as you break it in. the only new car that will have fantastic gas mileage straight off the lot is a hybrid or an electric vehicle or something.

they also put ethanol in the gas every summer, and it kills gas mileage. I'm not sure if they already put it in or not.

Well howdy. the second tank with 50 miles in town and 200 highway 39.5:D
The third tank 200 highway and 20 town 44.5:eek: :) :p I find its a good driving and really a boring car on the highway. Course when its 100 miles to the nearest Mickey D's everthing is a road trip.:)
