Hi everyone, just bought a Honda Fit Sport '08, AT. Love everything about it except the advertised color of Blackberry Blue is closer to purple than blue. :(

Does anyone know what the proper break-in procedure is for this car?

when I bought mine, they told me not to worry about the break-in stuffs. they just said not to slam on my breaks if at all possible "until the car is broken in" ...whenever that was.

but...I used the same rule as my parents had with their scion. didn't go above 5k rpms for the first 10k miles.

...they also claimed that I only have to change my oil every 5k miles...but I still try to change it ever 3k if possible.
my first oil change, I went a lil longer without changing the oil...and the check oil light didn't come on until somewhere over 6k mi (the week after I got my oil changed) ...I'm not relying on that thing at all.
