Finally decided to measure the tire pressures in my new Fit, and found them to be 36, 34, 32.5 and 32.5. I didn't feel like hooking up the compressor and pumping up the two low ones, so I just let air out to 32 psi per tire all the way around. The door jam says they should be at 33...but I figured it would be all right until I pull the compressor out next time.
I was surprised that it made a big difference in cornering. The car seemed more balanced and stable. It also did not seem to be as bumpy as it had been.
