Picked up these seats locally and plain to put them in the Fit. I have Bride RO seat rails on order. Im wondering if any of you guys have any experience with putting seats in the Fit. What did you do as far as the side air bags and passenger air bags. Also is there any negative effects of running around with the airbag warning light on?

just wanted to give a update on my progress

The rail was not a direct fit. I called about them being the wrong ones. Basically was told that they would work but just need to me modified a bit to fit the 08. I was given Brides sales # so I could call to get more details as to what needs to be done.

With the help of my brother (im pretty useless when it comes to things like this :p) We test fitted the rail. It fit very closely The right rear was a bit to high up but was solved very easily with a four washer as a spacer and longer bolt. The front left the hole was way off and the tab itself was to long. Basically we (my brother) cut the hole off shortening the foot. he then test fitted it again and it needed to be bent down a bit. With a hammer it was tweaked into position and then drilled a new hole. With Some black paint to cover any exposed metal, you almost cant tell its been modified now. Unfortunately I was in a hast to get this done today so I dint take many pics during the process, but when my brother and me tackle the passenger side I will make sure to document it better.

Its a bit tight around the hips. The seating position feels a bit lower, over all though it feels really good. The seat is pretty comfortable, I havent taken any long trips in it though, after a week of work we will see how much im liking it. :p

Looking good. I'm trying to find something similar to that in kind. I want a cool racing seat for the driver side only.
