Hi.. I have just joined this forum and is new to this community. I am driving a 4 yr old Honda Fit In Singapore and it's giving me problem when I accelerate. The car will jerk when it reach 2 rpm. I am wondering if this is because of the gearbox? I have recently change the EGR Valve, Spark Plugs and have the Fuel Tank Filter cleaned. The jerking still persist. Would be grateful for any form of advice.

Thank you

Hi and welcome! Your problem is probably with one or more of the ignition coils that are mounted on the top of each spark plug. Failure of ignition coils is a known problem with the Ffit/Jazz. As the coils fail, they are not able to deliver enough electrical voltage to make the spark plug fire. One or more "dead" cylinders would make the car "jerk". This is my guess- I would have to see, hear and feel how your car runs to be able to be more specific in a diagnosis.

Hi Manxman, thanks for responding... I noted that you are based in US and would not be able to text drive my car...:(
I will get the workshop to check on the ignition coil...Thanks
